The River Thames at Chiswick, Brentford and Isleworth

If you are looking for a relaxing way to enjoy the river in Hounslow, then why not take a walk along the river Thames and take in some some spectacular views and scenery.
Strand on the Green in Chiswick is situated in a beautiful conservation area next to the river Thames. Riverside pubs and Grade II listed buildings sit side by side along the riverbank. it is also conveninetly located near to Fuller Brewery, Kew Bridge Steam Museum and the Musical Museum. The riverside path takes vistors under Kew Brdige and on to Brentford.
Brentford boasts not only a beautiful riverside location but it is also the point where the Grand union Canal meets the Thames at Brentford Lock. The riverside walk takes visitors through lively Brentford with its famous mooring, past Syon House and on to Isleworth
Isleworth offers visitors the opportunity to see the river as a living and working environment. The boatyards mingle with houses and pubs giving the area a village feel.
The nearest stations to Strand on the Green are Kew Bridge station (overland) and Gunnersbury station (underground). Buses H91, 65 and 272 all pass close by. The nearest stations to Brentford are Brentford (overland) and South Ealing (underground). Buses 65, 237 and 267 pass through Brentford. Buses 237 and H37 pass by Isleworth.
